About Me

I was born and raised in Gainesville, Florida, where I attended the University of Florida for my Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral degrees in psychology. While completing my doctorate, I trained at the UF Counseling & Wellness Center working in the Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) programs and completed training rotations in the psychological testing practicum. I completed my predoctoral internship in the North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System, where I completed rotations in inpatient psychiatry, substance abuse treatment team (SATT), and primary care mental health. After getting my doctorate, I completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Ringling College of Art and Design and worked with artistic, creative students and created programming to foster resilience in creative professions.

When I am not providing therapy or testing, I am either spending time with my family or reading a good book.
